Hello there! I’m Ciara Middlebrook, a virtual counselor and Registered Social Worker serving clients in Saskatchewan and Alberta. My practice is rooted in both my personal experiences and evidence-based practices, allowing me to assist individuals in overcoming life challenges and achieving their goals.
Many individuals resort to unhealthy habits such as food restriction, excessive exercise, or overeating as a means of coping with problems, stress, and difficulties in their lives. Through therapy, I aim to help people establish healthier coping mechanisms and address the underlying issues.
Recognizing that each person is unique, with diverse stories, needs, and goals, I employ an eclectic approach in my work. This means I draw from a variety of therapeutic practices, including talk therapy, trauma-informed approaches, cognitive-behavioral therapies, brief solution-focused therapies, psychoeducation, mindfulness, and acceptance and commitment therapy. By tailoring my approach to suit each individual, I strive to create a safe and supportive environment for personal growth and healing.
